The SAK’D KOUSa Cushions Giveaway

We recently held a big Pop-Culture Giveaway in partnership with KOUSa® Cushions (https://kousa.ca) and after they launched the first cushion giveaway, we figured ‘you know what’s better than one SAK’D KOUSa Cushion Giveaway? TWO SAK’D KOUSa Cushion Giveaways!’ So Kate and her team at KOUSa headed up the first giveaway with a vibrant and ultra-comfy SAK’D-tacular design, and we followed up giving away the second KOUSa cushion featuring everyone’s favourite monster-smashin’ n’ spell-castin’ pillow, Sak!

Here’s how the draw went down…

We used a random name draw website, recorded it with Twitch and posted within about a minute of the recording, to try and deliver the good news by the deadline. You can click the video below to watch us slowly crawl through that process (lol); we’ll certainly try to be a bit more ‘fluid’ with the name-draw moving forward, but it was a ton of fun, and we were excited…so, you know.

Every time we hold a giveaway it’s a new learning experience in what works best or doesn’t work at all. We’re game developers after all, not ‘contest wizards’,🧙but that said, whether it’s a game or a giveaway, it’s all about user experience and we’re dedicated to keeping things fun and weird, so rest-assured; we’ll keep bringing the giveaway magic as often as we can.
